Merthyr Charity Breakfast 24th November

Frankie and Bennys Merthyr Tydfil in conjunction with BLESMA & The ABF The Soldiers Charity joined forces and held a fantastic charity event on November 24th.  We pride ourselves on being a community based family restaurant and were delighted to support both charities’ and raised £1785.79 throughout the day.

While our Breakfast Menu normally retails at £10 for 2 Breakfasts, Frankie & Benny’s in Merthyr Tydfil generously donated free breakfasts to over 250 guests who dined between 8am-2pm all in aid of this superb charity. 

Stuart Aldridge (General Manager) said it was only with the support of the local community and the close links with Patrick Provis that the event could be so successful – he estimates we gave away over £2500 worth of food and drinks all in exchange for donations to this fantastic cause. 

David Mc Creadie (Area Manager of Frankie and Bennys) said he was proud of the entire team and was grateful we could be part of such a big event.  While we work closely with the communities across Merthyr in events like this, this charity breakfast was incredibly successful & shows what can be achieved by organisations who get involved with charities who desperately need the support of local businesses.
