Restaurant Details & Bookings

Do your restaurants take bookings?

Each of our restaurants sets its own policy, so it is best to call them and discuss your requirements. You can find restaurants, details of their opening times and facilities here.

What are your opening times? And what facilities do you have?

Full information about all of our restaurants is on our website here. However, some details are the same for all locations:

We accept all major credit cards
All our restaurants carry large print menus. Please just ask
All our restaurants also have free wifi
Most restaurants open from 9am until 11pm Monday – Saturday, and from 9am – 10:30pm Sunday. Some of our restaurants do open earlier.
All of our restaurants have baby changing facilities and disabled facilities

Do you allow unaccompanied under 16 year olds in your restaurants?

This is something that we would recommend you speak to your local restaurant Manager about, as it is to their discretion. Because the party are automatically their responsibility with no adult present, then it must be left to the individual manager to decide whether they are able to accept that responsibility. You can find contact details for your local restaurant here

Frankie & Benny’s Menus

Do you list calories on your menus?

We don’t currently have a full list of calorie information for all of our dishes; this is something we are looking into. However in the meantime, we do have a Lighter Options Menu which offers a range of main courses at 650 calories or less, and starters and desserts to accompany them at 200 calories or less. Take a look here.

Do you cater for gluten-free diets?

We have a full Non Gluten Containing Ingredients Menu available on request, so please ask your server upon arrival. We would also be happy to advise on dishes from our other menus that can be easily altered. You are also more than welcome if you would like to bring your own gluten-free pizza base (or other products) to any of our restaurants and we will be happy to prepare them for you. Simply contact the restaurant manager before your visit or make them aware upon your arrival. Please note that whilst we will do our very best to prepare a meal without gluten, as we use gluten-containing ingredients in our kitchens we cannot guarantee that any dish would be 100% gluten free. Should you require recommendations according to your specific dietary requirement, please contact our Head Office.

I have a small appetite, as an adult can I order from the kids menu?

Unfortunately our kids menu is only available for children up to the age of 11. For those with smaller appetites we do have a range of Lighter Options dishes or you would be welcome to order an appetiser instead of a main course.

I don’t have a printer. How can I use the discount voucher on your website?

If you don’t have access to a printer but do have a smart phone, you can simply show the voucher on your phone instead.

Why can’t I use my voucher with the lunch or specials menu?

Our lunch and specials menus are both special offer, set menus. As they are already special offer menus, they unfortunately cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discounted menu.

Celebrating at Frankie & Benny’s

Do you do anything special for Birthdays?

At Frankie & Benny's, we love a good party! If anyone knows how to do birthdays in style, it’s us! We have a Birthday Club, which you can join here, offering exclusive birthday treats for all ages. You are also more than welcome to bring in a birthday cake, which we will happily bring out at a convenient time for you, and - of course! - sing ‘Happy Birthday’! For children’s birthday parties we have great activity packs, to help keep them occupied, and each child will also receive a balloon.

I joined the birthday club but didn’t get a response – how can I get my birthday meal?

We’re sorry you haven’t received a confirmation email upon joining. We would suggest you check your junk mail first, in case it has been diverted there. If you joined the Birthday Club less than 4 weeks before the birthday, you will need to print off your confirmation email to claim your free birthday main course. If you join the Birthday club more than 4 weeks before the birthday, you will receive another email from us 1 month before as a birthday reminder. Again, simply print this email and take it with you to redeem your free main course.

Do you cater for children's parties?

Yes, we do! In some locations, we even offer pizza making parties for children, where they can enjoy making their own pizza with their friends. Costs can vary slightly per location, so it is best to check with your local restaurant here. For standard children’s parties, we have 2 menus available. Our kids menu is £4.25 for younger children and our juniors menu is and £7.75 for children with a larger appetite (although both menus are available for children up to the age of 11). Both menus include refillable soft drinks, main course, desserts, kid’s activity pack and a balloon. Bookings are subject to availability and may not be available during peak times. To book a party, simply call the restaurant you would like to book and talk to the manager. They’ll be happy to assist you however they can.

What is your schools visit programme?

At Frankie and Benny’s, we value the relationship with our local community. For several years, we have invited small groups of primary school children into our restaurants to give them a unique introduction to the workplace. As a well-established company with a reputation for quality, this allows us to share our wealth of experience and expertise with the workforce of tomorrow.

At Frankie and Benny’s, we believe it is important to bring together local businesses and education. The premise behind our schools programme is simple; Frankie and Benny’s can, and should, contribute to the development of children’s education within the local community. Learning and fun often go hand in hand. This belief gives us the foundation of our schools programme. The visit incorporates national curriculum and subjects within key stages 1 and 2. We have worked alongside educational specialists in order to produce a dedicated schools pack to make sure we are targeting the right key stages of education. During their two-hour visit the children will enjoy the individual attention of their teacher, restaurant manager, kitchen manager, and staff. The aim is for your pupils to experience the grown up world in an exciting and productive atmosphere.

Towards the end of their visit the children will be able to choose pizza toppings and aid the chef in the preparation of their very own pizzas; of course they will not be able to participate in the actual cooking process or enter the kitchen for safety reasons. Although the children may see this as the highlight, it is in fact the “process” which holds the real value, as the children learn about hygiene, food/ingredients, numeracy, co-operation, teamwork and health and safety, in a fun and constructive environment.

The enthusiasm from the pupils, teachers and staff from past visits has inspired us to develop this programme further. We offer your pupils a combination of experience in the workplace and practical skills. In return, it is great for our staff morale and they often gain as much as the children out of this great experience.

If you are interested in a schools visit, please speak to your local Frankie & Benny’s.

Do you sponsor local junior sports teams?

Yes, we do! We are committed to helping our local community and introduced our junior sports team sponsorship initiative several years ago. Simply call or pop into your local Frankie & Benny’s, ask for an application form, then pop it back to them when completed. If the restaurant you contact is already sponsoring a team, they will keep your details on file for the future. You can find contact details for your local restaurant here.

Frankie & Benny’s Responsible Drinking Policy

Why can’t a 16 or 17 year old be served alcohol in your restaurants when this is perfectly legal?

Whilst, legally, they can be allowed alcohol with a table meal if it is purchased by an adult, as a company we need to ensure that no-one under 16 could be given alcohol in this manner.
We therefore ban the sale of alcohol to anyone under the age of 18. This is a further measure to ensure our staff are not in any danger of prosecution by mistakenly allowing the sale of alcohol to under age guests.

My daughter is 18 but was asked for ID and refused alcohol because she didn’t have any, why?

As a company, we take our responsibilities towards the law relating to the sale of alcohol very seriously indeed. We have intensively trained our staff and managers to ensure they are not at risk from prosecution for failing to adhere strictly to procedures in this regard. We operate a ‘challenge 25’ policy in all branches to prevent alcohol being sold to anyone the law prohibits. Once ID is requested alcohol cannot be served unless valid proof of age documentation can be provided.
