This Christmas, we tasked children with a fantastic festive colouring competition, where they had to colour in one of 3 wrapping paper designs.

First prize for the competition was a £250 holiday voucher and a book to wrap up for their loved one with their one-of-a-kind wrapping paper. All of our lucky runners up also received a book of their choice to wrap up.

There were some fantastic entries with some beautifully coloured drawings, but we could only pick 5 lucky winners…

First prize: Joe, age 8 from Methven

Joe is a huge Harry Potter fan, and is going to spend his £250 holiday voucher on a trip to London with his family to visit The Harry Potter Studios!

On the same magical theme, Joe has chosen the book ‘Harry Potter: The Marauder’s Map Guide to Hogwarts’ as his gift to give his cousin (who is also a big Harry Potter fan), what a fantastic idea! Joe says he is delighted to win first prize in our festive colouring competition, as he loves colouring and wait to do even more over the Christmas holidays. Let’s hope Father Christmas brings you a great new colouring book!

Runner up: Megan, age 6 from Penshaw

Megan has chosen the Jolly Christmas Postman book to wrap up for her Grandma so that they can read the book together on Saturday afternoons. Megan loved colouring in her wrapping paper and made the castle look like it was all wrapped up in candy canes, what a great idea!

Xmas wrapping paper winner

Runner up: Callum, age 6 from Stevenage

Callum’s wrapping paper is a true masterpiece with a fantastic use of bright colours, we just couldn’t refuse to give him a prize. Callum has decided to give his gift to his two brothers, Theo and Flynn so that they call all read together. They all love the Cat in the Hat, so Callum has chosen the book ‘The Best of Dr. Seuss’. Happy reading boys!

Runner up: Evie, age 2 from Cornwall
