Ima go ahead and add @frankienbennys to the list of “places I never thought I’d be able to eat but now have a wealth of options in” 😍 (Invite) . . When @frankienbennys say that they’re adding a vegan offering to their menu, they ain’t messing. . @jolley_chris and I feasted on: 🍕 Kansas City BBQ – Vegan chicken strips, BBQ sauce, vegan mozzarella, red onions & chives £10.49 – This used to be my fave pizza! Loved the BBQ sauce and although the chicken chunks did have a slight soy taste, the texture was great & they worked. The dough was very thin which initially I didn’t like but it grew on me. Red onions – top addition 👌🏼 . 🍝 I Ain’t No Chicken Parmigiana – Crispy vegan schnitzel topped with Neapolitan tomato sauce, vegan mozzarella, served with spaghetti & veggies £13.29 – Dish of the day! The schnitzel was breaded perfectly. The sauce & cheese on top were delicious. The spag was nice but could’ve used a bit more punchy flavour . 🍔 Viva La Vegan 1/4 pounder with lettuce, tomato, red onions, gherkins & vegan burger sauce, served with chips £10.49 – I wasn’t expecting to love this but I enjoyed it! The patty was meaty (similar to Moving Mountains) and that burger sauce 🤤 The sauce drowned the burger a bit but it was so nice I made my peace with it 🧀 Mac No Cheese – Creamy cauliflower sauce with butternut squash, pasta, a crispy herb crumb & rocket £9.79 – Not particularly cheesy but it was creamy. Perhaps a bit expensive but it was alright 🌭 Not Dog with American style sausage, fried onions & ketchup £7.79 – The only dish I didn’t like! Sausage flavour didn’t do it for me 🌱 Chickenless nuggets (rice protein & chia), tumbled in spicy vegan sriracha mayo, served w/ vegan mayo £6.29 – Lovely spice & perfect with that incredible mayo 🍫 Chocolate & Raspberry lava cake – Absolutely delicious! . . Now, no one’s walking into F&B expecting Michelin star food but for what it is, I was impressed! It felt like effort had gone into creating unique dishes! The prices are fair and I’d go again! 👏🏼 . . The lovely team were kind enough to invite me and gave me this food on a complimentary basis. No payment was received and all opinions, as always, are honest and my own.

Insta VS real life ➡️⁣ ⁣ So as meat eaters we didn’t really rate @frankienbennys … so we were sceptical about this, but we can safely say that the vegan menu is good and we would go back! 🙌🏼⁣ ⁣ We had:⁣ 🍗 ‘Chickenless’ Nuggets – sauce was yum! ⁣ 🍔 Viva La Vegan Burger – TASTY, the patty was nice and not earthy. Can only fault that it was a tad dry but we smothered it in the sauce they gave us on the side.⁣ 🍕 Kansas BBQ Pizza with ‘chicken’ strips – can’t go wrong with a BBQ base EVER. But we do like our pizzas slightly more doughy.⁣ 🍰 Chocolate Lava Cake – again this was tasty just a little bit dry.⁣ ⁣ Thanks to our fab light holders/photographers for making us crack up @simbazajota @__oshim 😂👊🏼
