Which locations are opening? When will my local restaurant reopen.

Our first phase of openings includes 6 restaurants: Chesterfield, Lincoln, Peterborough-Boongate, Dudley, Merry Hill which are now offering Click & Collect and delivery. We will open these restaurants for dine in from 13th July - you can book a table now. We cannot confirm the complete list of individual restaurants that will be reopening at the moment. However, we will be making further announcements in due course, so please keep following us on social media and sign up to your local restaurant emails for the latest updates here.

Unfortunately, we are unable to confirm the status of individual sites until the restructuring process is complete. We will start to open after 4th July and will confirm individual restaurant details nearer the time, so please look out for updates on our social media platforms

For everyone’s safety and to allow sufficient testing, we are taking a cautious approach by opening our Click & Collect and delivery services first. The first restaurants will reopen for dine-in on 13th July – you can book a table at Chesterfield, Lincoln, Peterborough-Boongate, Dudley or Merry Hill now. In the meantime, we are working on enhanced processes to ensure the safety of our guests and teams before opening for dine-in. Keep an eye on our social media and e-mails for latest updates.

What is happening with furniture/fittings etc within the closed locations? Can I have/buy it?

Unfortunately it’s not possible to purchase items from closed locations.

What happens to teams in restaurants that are closing, what are you doing to look after them?

To support employees alongside redeployment opportunities we are offering outplacement support, ranging from additional skills with interviewing techniques, CV writing and support with personal job search advice. We have also upweighted the Employee Assistance Programme covering wellbeing services ranging from family issues, stress & anxiety to financial and legal advice.

Why has my email not been responded to?

During lockdown the majority of our teams were on furlough. We apologise for the delay in our response as our Guest Services team works through the backlog.

__What payment methods do you accept in restaurant? __

In order to reduce contact in restaurant, we will be encouraging Pay At Table – a payment function that allows you to pay using your own device. We also offer contactless card payments. However, if none of the contactless options work, we will be accepting cash payments.

I have a gift card/ voucher that expired during lockdown. What can I do?

At the moment we’re extending all gift/card voucher validity to 31st December, however if you fear you won’t be able to visit us before that, please contact our guest services team and we will look to extend the validity. The other terms and conditions apply.

Could I catch the virus through your food?

As per the latest government advice, the virus cannot be spread through food or packaging.

How can I trust that your restaurants are following the latest government guidance and adhering to the safety measures?

We will continue to update our safety measures according to latest Government’s guidelines. The measures in place have been thoroughly tested by our teams and health & safety departments.

Why are your teams not wearing masks and gloves when preparing food and serving?

Under government guidelines, masks are advised only when social distancing is not possible. We have implemented strict measures which ensure our teams are able to social distance safely. We are, however, providing PPE for necessary tasks. Instead of using gloves, which can lead to poor practices, our teams are washing their hands and sanitizing frequently.

Why is your menu shorter? Why can’t I find my favourite dish?
As we reopen, we will be offering a simplified menu allowing social distancing measures and reducing pressure on our teams. But don’t worry, we’ve made sure to keep our favourites! If yours didn’t make the cut, let us know on social media so we can take into account when full menu is back.

Are you offering breakfast?
As we reopen, we will be offering a simplified menu and operating reduced hours allowing social distancing measures and reducing pressure on our teams. Unfortunately, this means that we won’t be able to offer breakfast in the first phase of our openings. Make sure you follow us on social media to find out when we’re ready for your morning fix.

As we get to grips with the new processes, we will not be able to take orders on the phone to limit contact points between teams. Please visit our Click & Collect page to place an order online. We apologise for any inconvenience this might cause.

Can I pay for my takeaway at the restaurant?

As we get to grips with the new processes, we will not be able to accept payments at the restaurant to limit contact points between teams. Please visit our Click & Collect page to place an order and pay online. We apologise for any inconvenience this might cause.

Can I use a voucher or gift card to pay for my takeaway/Click & Collect order?

Unfortunately we’re not able to accept vouchers through Click & Collect at the moment. However, we’re working hard to offer a solution as soon as possible.

Why can’t I find any offers?

In order to simplify processes and mitigate the financial impact of COVID 19, for the time being we’re not offering discounts on Click & collect and Delivery. When we open for dine in, we will continue to offer our NHS staff and students discounts… However, rest assured we’ve worked very hard to bring you the best value with our everyday prices.
